We are a locally loved bakery specializing in high-quality European-style desserts, wedding cakes, and specialty baked goods. Serving top resorts, caterers, and restaurants in the Valley, we are committed to delivering excellence—both in our products and in our workplace.

What You’ll Do

As our Assistant Pastry Chef, you’ll be the right hand to the executive chef and a key player in our daily operations. Your role will include:

• Managing and Delegating Production Tasks : Lead and oversee a small team to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Quality Control : Maintain high standards by reviewing and approving products before they’re packaged or served.
• Inventory Management : Monitor ingredient levels, place product orders with vendors, and minimize waste to keep the kitchen running seamlessly.
• Skills Development : Mentor and train team members, helping them refine their techniques and grow as pastry professionals.
• Menu Development : Collaborate on the creation of new bakery items for both wholesale and retail customers.
• Delivery Coordination : Ensure that delivery drivers are organized, on time, and equipped with accurate orders.

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for someone who:

• Has 2+ years of baking/dessert pastry experience , with prior leadership experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen preferred.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high production volume environment.
• Is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Has a creative flair for desserts and an understanding of baking techniques.
• Possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills ( bilingual is a huge plus ).
• Is proactive and enthusiastic about mentoring others and driving improvement.
• Can lift up to 50 pounds and work on their feet for extended periods.
