We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class B Box Truck Driver to join our team for local deliveries within the Houston, TX area . This role is ideal for a driver who enjoys being home daily, working with a supportive logistics team, and delivering excellent service to our clients.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a 24–26 ft. box truck in a safe and professional manner.
- Pick up and deliver goods to various locations in the Greater Houston area.
- Load and unload freight using a liftgate, pallet jack, or manually when needed.
- Ensure timely deliveries while complying with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Handle freight with care to prevent damage during transit.
Requirements:
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) .
- Clean MVR and background check.
- Minimum 3 year of experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle preferred.
- Familiarity with the Houston metro area and surrounding neighborhoods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform manual loading/unloading when necessary.
- Strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and communication.
$19.00-$20.00 hr DOE
