**Job Summary and Responsibilities** As an EEG Tech, you will perform diagnostic Electroencephalography, seizure monitoring, and evoked potential recordings of the brain or central nervous system per physician orders and established protocols. Every day you will prepare patients, ensure a safe testing environment, execute studies, observe and document results, and monitor equipment, all under direct healthcare provider supervision. To be successful, you will possess thorough knowledge of EEG equipment, continuously update your skills, and actively participate in quality assurance programs to uphold diagnostic accuracy and patient safety. **Job Requirements** High School graduate or GED. Graduate of CAAHEP approved Polysomnography program or EEG program a plus. On job training allowed along with 3 fundamental ASET courses to be completed in the first year. Must be boarded by ABRET as a REEGT within 6 years of employment for on job training.
