Job Title: Electrical Engineer Job Description Join a dynamic team as an Electrical Engineer where you will engage in electrical design, engineering, and drafting for commercial building construction using REVIT. This role requires proficiency in electrical design from schematic to completion and the ability to perform essential calculations for services and voltage drop. Responsibilities + Design electrical systems for commercial and high-rise building construction using REVIT and AutoCAD. + Perform electrical engineering, drafting, and calculations for commercial building projects. + Translate red lines and markups from engineering staff into REVIT and AutoCAD. + Provide design input from schematic stages through to project completion. + Ensure compliance with NEC codes and standards. + Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a consulting environment. Essential Skills + Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD. + 2+ years of experience in electrical design or drafting with an MEP consulting firm. + Comprehensive knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC). + Ability to perform electrical design and calculations for lighting, power, and voltage. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with power distribution, generator systems, and infrastructure for mixed-use and commercial buildings. + Engineering degree preferred but not required; interest in obtaining a PE license is valued. Work Environment The company offers a small office setting with exposure to large-scale projects, including mid to high-rise buildings. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
