Job Description

1. Review medical records, physician notes, and patient charts for accurate coding.
2. Apply CPT, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and HCPCS codes as per coding guidelines.
3. Ensure coding accuracy for insurance claim submissions .
4. Maintain knowledge of coding updates, guidelines, and compliance regulations .
5. Collaborate with billing and healthcare teams to resolve discrepancies.
6. Conduct denial analysis and assist in claim corrections.
7. Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
8. Assist in internal and external audits for coding accuracy.
9. Provide support in training and mentoring junior coders if applicable.
