Role Responsibilities

  • Create and Deliver a Great Guest Experience Every Single Time in accordance with Pig & Grits hospitality and service standards
  • Prepares room for dining by setting tables, caddies, napkins, sauces, and utensils.
  • Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and control policies.
  • Guides patrons selecting food and beverages by presenting menu; offering appetizers; suggesting entrees; explaining the daily features; answering food preparation questions. Demonstrate vast menu knowledge and ingredient knowledge
  • Transmits orders to kitchen by recording guests choices; identifying guests special dietary needs and special requests.
  • Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
  • Properly and promptly serves orders by picking up and delivering patron's choices from kitchen; delivering accompaniments and condiments
  • Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process.
  • Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing necessary utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
  • Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting patrons to return.
  • Obtains revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; delivering bill and payment to host person; returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

 

Qualified candidates for this position have :

  • Professional demeanor is a must
  • 1-2 years of strong serving experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, detail oriented
  • Proper Food Handling
  • Motivated on consistently exceeding customer expectations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively meet all deadlines, works well under pressure

Compensation: Base + Tips

Reports to: FOH Supervisor, GM
