School Nurse – Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN | PRN/Sub | Tacoma area, WA | 2025–2026 School Year

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated and compassionate  Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Sub/PRN to serve as a  School Nurse for the 2025–2026 school year in  the greater Tacoma area in Washington . This is a PRN in-person 1:1 position serving students with health needs. Job Highlights:

  • Position: School Nurse (RN or LPN) : 1-1 support for students with health needs
  • Schedule: Seeking sub support for the following dates and more throughout the school year.
  • November 10-14, 2025
  • December 4 and 8, 2025
  • Setting: School Setting
  • Start Date: As needed, see above dates
  • In-person only

Qualifications:

  • Valid  Washington State RN or LPN license (DOH or Compact)
  • Medical experience required: G tube feeding and med administration, condom catheter care, transferring/lifting with support, airway suctioning, trach, seizure monitoring
  • Pediatric experience
  • Fingerprinting and background check required prior to start
  • Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or public health preferred
