The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe is seeking a full-time creative and motivated Videographer to join our media team on-site in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This role supports the Shrine's mission by capturing and editing video content for digital platforms (including Instagram and YouTube) and assisting with live-streaming liturgies and events.
Responsibilities:
- Film and edit content using project outlines or scripts
- Film and edit videos for social media, promotions, events, and ministry projects
- Create short-form and long-form videos for mixed use
- Assist in all stages of video production and livestreaming
- Operate live-stream systems (training provided)
- Maintain an organized digital asset library for easy retrieval and use in various media
- Make revisions based on feedback from multiple project stakeholders
- Monitor social media trends and suggest new content ideas
- Organize and categorize testimonies, reviews, and online brand identity and sentiment
Qualifications:
- 1-5 years experience in video production
- Proficiency in Davinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere
- Strong visual storytelling skills
- Good understanding of social media formats
- Ability to collaborate in a creative team environment
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
- Commitment to upholding Catholic values and representing the Shrine's mission
Note: this role requires flexible availability such as working weekends to livestream/film events and Masses.
