Warmth

Under Project Warmth Aakriti Newage Foundation made sure that our community residents who are lacking the basic necessities such as warm clothes, sweaters, blankets etc. can get them during such time of the year. For the past 5 years, Aakriti has been distributing these in government schools and tribal, rural and poverty-ridden areas in Udaipur. Hypothermia is a leading cause of death during extreme winters, especially for children and the elderly. Some recent studies found that over 20% of the population in rural India lacks access to adequate winter clothing. Till now Aakriti has distributed 2+ Lakh winter clothing and blankets around Udaipur District and touched more than 1.4+ lakh lives. This project is fully crowd funded.

Dhara Shringaar & Event Charakli

Aakriti has also worked with Udaipur’s forest department with focus on the well-being of birds by planting over 7,000 earthen water bowls, providing hydration and encouraging others to take similar actions. These efforts are driven by a passion for nature and a desire for a sustainable future for all.

This collaborative effort aimed to educate the public on the importance of safe driving practices and exercising their right to vote responsibly.

Pahal Awareness drives (PAD)

If we don’t do it, then who will? It’s time for us to take a stand and step towards a better society. That’s why the Aakriti Newage Foundation is actively working to spread awareness on crucial topics such as child marriage, women empowerment, sex Education, and child education through engaging street plays called “nukkad natak.”

Education

Over the past five years, our team has been dedicated to making a difference in the field of education. We believe in laying a strong foundation by focusing on basic subjects such as English, Hindi, and math. By applying various filters, we identify students who show a genuine interest in education and are eager to learn.
We are proud to inform you that our efforts have yielded impressive results. Our team of experts has worked closely with these motivated students, and I am delighted to share that they have achieved remarkable scores. In their 12th grade exams, some of our students scored an impressive 80%, while others achieved 70% in their 10th grade exams. Overall, our students have passed with flying colors.
These achievements are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, as well as the commitment of our team. And because of these results we are eager to establish digital education center at our village.

Lumpy Ladoos

In the face of the devastating lumpy virus outbreak that was harming Rajasthan’s cows, Aakriti Newage Foundation took prompt action to protect these animals. They recognised the urgency and launched a month-long program solely dedicated to creating and distributing medicinal ladoos to boost the cows’ immunity. Every evening, our dedicated team of members and volunteers came together to prepare these ladoos using high-quality ingredients.
Operating entirely on funds raised through crowdfunding, we distributed these ladoos throughout Udaipur during the night, reaching nearly 8,000 cows in total. The initiative proved highly successful. We witnessed a significant decline in the virus’s impact on the cows, with a marked decrease in mortality rates. This program reflects Aakriti’s commitment to animal welfare and our ability to make a positive difference through community collaboration.

At Aakriti Foundation, we believe that everyone deserves access to good health, regardless of their background or circumstances. That’s why we work to provide essential health services to people in need, including the distribution of sanitary pads to women, masks, Ration and sanitizer in COVID times and medical camps.

Menstruation is a natural process, but it can be difficult for women who do not have access to sanitary pads. This can lead to health problems, such as infections and skin irritation. They help to prevent infections and other health problems, and they can also improve women’s confidence and self-esteem. Aakriti Foundation till now distributed more than 15,000 sanitary pads to women in need, including those who live in rural areas or who cannot afford to buy them.

Distribution of Masks, Ration & Sanitizer in Covid Times:

Dil wali deewar

As an NGO, we are committed to helping the underprivileged in our community. In the last three years, we have organized a series of events called ‘Dil Wali Deewar’ in collaboration with 94.3 My FM. These events have included singing, dancing, and skill shows. People who have attended the shows have even donated clothes, stationery, and toys.

Here are some of the benefits of Dil Wali Deewar:

2. It has raised awareness of the importance of giving back to the community. The music, dance, and skill shows have been a great way to bring people together and celebrate the diversity of our community.
3. It has provided a platform for talented artists and performers to showcase their skills. This has helped to build confidence and self-esteem and has given people the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
