Online Volunteering Opportunities for You

Sometimes, even though we feel for a cause and want to be a part of the solution, our day to day work holds us back. If you are facing this dilemma, you can sign up as a cyber advocate for Aakriti Newage Foundation and volunteer online by engaging in four simple tasks.

  • Be the voice of our work by sharing it with your friends and families and helping spread the word.
  • Promote Aakriti Newage Foundation and all the work done by our non-profit organisation through the online channels and forums that you are active in.
  • You can create engaging online courses or training modules for beneficiaries, resources and help us build connections (both public and private).
  • Provide online tutoring or mentorship to students in under-resourced communities.

 

Content & Research

Writing is one of the most effective online volunteering opportunities in the current world. So if you are a writer/blogger, you can share our work with the world by leveraging blogs and spread the word about our cause.

  • You can also join as a guest blogger and publish blogs in your name on our website.
  • Conduct research, write grant proposals to secure funding for the NGO’s initiatives.
  • You can also translate website content, documents, or relevant materials into different languages.
  • Organize and analyze data to support the NGO’s programs and decision-making.

Social Media & Graphics

You can become a social media volunteer for us by engaging in some simple tasks.

  • Follow us on Instagram & Facebook, like our posts and recommend us to your friends, families and social circles.
  • Tweet and retweet about our work on Twitter and help us attract more contributors to our cause.
  • Subscribe to our YouTube channel and like, share and comment on our videos.
  • If you have a LinkedIn account, share your volunteering experience on Linkedin, mention our causes, add us to your social circle and help spread the word.
  • You can also create graphical content for our social media and share tips to grow there.

Fundraising & Advocacy

You can create an online fundraising campaign on various fundraising online and offline platforms after discussion and help us raise funds for our different causes. You can also create campaigns to celebrate special occasions, such as birthdays and anniversaries. You can share your campaign with your friends and family or your social media connections to spread the word about it. Be our virtual advocate by assisting us with online fundraising campaigns through research, content creation, or promotion. You can also help plan and manage online webinars, workshops, or fundraising events.

Volunteers usually don’t get a certificate at Aakriti because we believe Volunteering is about doing something selflessly. While we value your time and efforts, certificates are only issued for internship which is for 1 month at least and involves working full time with the team. Please note that contributing your surplus material is not volunteering.
