As the name suggests, Project Prahlad aims to protect workers’ and labourers’ feet from scorching heat and rough surfaces and to provide them with ease at their workplaces so they can work without injuries. The workers and labourers are the country’s backbone, they are the reason the infrastructure is standing still and all three sectors are working smoothly but sometimes due to a lack of essential elements the efficiency at work and health of the person falls and shoes are one of those elements. That’s why it becomes vital for people with awareness and resources to think of a bigger picture, come ahead and help these people at the base of the pyramid.
We also distribute shoes to school children in case there is a need but mainly focus on workers and labourers. Until now we have distributed 1000 shoes in the year 2023 and are looking to double the number in 2024 with 600 completed this year.
This project will indirectly provide employment opportunities. Presently this project is running in Udaipur and we are planning to cover other areas of South Rajasthan. To contribute to this campaign you can either host a shoe drive, donate your old shoes and even cash or volunteer with us.
